Both of Okoboji/HMS's wrestling teams had perfect nights during duals hosted by Sibley-Ocheyedan on Jan. 11.
The Pioneer boys defeated Sheldon/South O'Brien, 43-30, and topped Sibley-Ocheyedan, 51-24. H-M-S athletes contributed a total of five individual wins.
James Gellerman (175) was 2-0, pinning Kolt Roos of Sheldon/SOS (0:59) and Dominic Marco of S-O (3:23). Nathan Stofferan (113) also earned two wins, pinning Jackson Van Der Sloot of S-O (3:57) and receiving a forfeit.
Ethan Wiersma (215) won by fall over Kayden Kooima of S-O (1:15) and lost a narrow decision to Landon Sietstra of Sheldon...
