Pioneers drop 4 duals at Forest City tourney

Competition was tough for Okoboji/H-M-S at the Forest City dual wrestling tournament on Jan. 9. The Pioneers finished the day with a 0-4 record, dropping their overall dual mark to 5-17.
Okoboji/H-M-S lost to Charles City (54-15), Clear Lake (52-24), Forest City (59-15) and St. Ansgar (51-30).
H-M-S wrestler Nick Bronstad finished with three wins. His only loss was to Chase Crooks of Charles City, the No. 6-ranked 285-pounder in Class 2A. Chayton Faulkner recorded two wins and Bryce Dodge added one.
