Putting together a complete lineup has been tough for the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls’ track and field team, and so has been being able to compete due to the uncooperative nature of the weather.
Some of those issues were overcome last week and the Hawks were ready to take advantage of the opportunities.
“Our girls are hard workers,” said Hawk coach Kirsten Taylor. “They’re happy to get on a track and compete.”
