Farmyard Fun at CC/E: January was an animal adventure at Clay Central/Everly Elementary. The library's theme of "Animals From Near and Far" was highlighted by last week's visit from Clay County Conservation, which featured all things creepy and crawly. Additionally, students enjoyed visits from Katie and Lee Geerdes, who brought in their baby goats, and Teresa Meyer, who showed off her pet corgi.
Hartley snow ordinance reminders
The City of Hartley is reminding residents about snow ordiances regarding snow removal and street parking.

Lydia Harders named to Central College dean's list
Lydia Harders, of Hartley, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2022 semester at Central College in Pella. She is a 2022 graduate of Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School.
