All-WEC First Team selection Gracie Knobloch fields a grounder earlier this season. The freshman was the lone Hawk on the top conference team.

The three Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn softball players named to the 2022 All-War Eagle Conference teams have something in common: they are all first-time selections.

Freshman Gracie Knobloch was named first team all-WEC. She finished second among conference players in batting average (.548) with at least 50 at-bats, and was among team leaders in hitting, fielding and pitching.

Senior Bailey VerHelst was named to the all-WEC second team and junior Cadence Klein was honorable mention.

A team's place finish in the final standings determines the number of all-conference players it will have.
