An Honor Guard service and interment for Rickey “Rick” L. Brandsrud are planned at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting with arrangements.

Rickey Lee Brandsrud was born to Russell and Jean Brandsrud on Dec. 27, 1954, at Brookings, S.D. The family moved to Seattle, Wash. in 1966, where Rick finished his education and joined the U.S. Navy in 1972. He finished his tour aboard the USS Constellation in 1975 and returned home to Seattle.
