A funeral service for Earline Blahauvietz, 93, of Spirit Lake, was held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Harris.

Earline Elsie Benner Blahauvietz was born on June 2, 1927 in Primghar, to Earl and Elsie Benner. She grew up on a farm in Primghar and attended elementary and secondary school, graduating from Primghar High School in 1944. In high school she was involved in musical operettas and glee club.
