Limited girls' lineup finishes 7th at Sheldon invite
A limited Okoboji-HMS lineup was only six points away from finishing as high as fourth place at the Sheldon girls' wrestling tournament on Jan. 4.
Only eight Pioneers competed and two did not place. One of those was Miley Appledorn of H-M-S. Wrestling at 120 pounds, Appledorn lost by fall to Sophia Villegas of East Sac County (1:37) and Brooklyn Jager of Akron-Westfield (0:59).
Those who did place were Brooke Stockdale, second at 110 pounds; Brilee Fauth, third at 125; Kaela Weston, fourth at 100; Jenessa Gates, fourth at 170; Kenadie Neavin, fifth at 105; and Kimberly Bergeson, sixth at 135....
