Judith R. Sonich, 80, Wayne, Neb.

Judith R. "Judy" Sonich, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at the Wayne Countryview Care and Rehabilitation in Wayne, Neb.

Judy was born Oct. 4, 1944 to Ray and Lorayne (Lange) Piper in San Francisco, Calif. She married Donald J. Sonich on June 1, 1963. Judy and her husband spent a majority of their marriage in Hartley and at Norfolk, Neb. Most recently, Judy lived in Oelwein after the passing of Donald on June 24, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; and grandson, Zachery Roskens.

She is survived by her children: Michael Hix, Pamela Sonich Kruger, Patricia...
