Hawks come up short in overtime loss to Wildcats

After leading well into the third quarter, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn saw the momentum shift, as Woodbury Central forced a tie at the end of regulation and went on to win, 61-59, in overtime.

H-M-S played good defense in the first half of the boys' game Dec. 5 at Moville. Woodbury Central only scored 17 points and made 25 percent of their shots, while the Hawks led 9-5 after one quarter and 27-17 at halftime.
