Renovation on the buildings located at 135 and 141 S Central Ave. in downtown Hartley continued this week, with seven new windows being installed. The window openings were previously covered by metal. The buildings were purchased earlier this fall by EZ Acquisitions, LLC. Owner Elijah Zevenbergen plans to renovate the ground level commercial space and create apartments on the second floor. The Hartley Public Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30. Regular hours will resume on Monday, Dec. 2.
