Hawks top Trinity Christian for 1st WEC win
Lawton Schiphoff had a pair of two-hit games in action last week against South O'Brien and Trinity Christian.
Trinity Christian took a quick lead, but Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn scored multiple runs in four of the first five innings to earn a 9-6 win. The Hawks' first victory in War Eagle Conference play came on June 26 in Hartley.
