Steven Richard Hoper, 75, of Crescent City, Fla., passed away on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023.

Steve was born in Sibley to the late James E. and Doris M. Hoper. He loved fishing, traveling and tinkering with stuff. He was a proud farmer during the 70's in Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 17 years; brother, James Hoper, of Arkansas; sister, Ann, of Wisconsin; son, Troy Hoper, of Kingsland, Ga.; daughter, Gina Smith, of Middleburg, Fla.; stepdaughter, Terry, of Orlando, Fla.; stepsons, William, of North Carolina, and James, of Washington; grandchildren, Dannielle and Jessica; great-grandchild...
