Gracie Knobloch finished in a tie with Allie Swoyer of Akron-Westfield at the top of the leader board.

With their opening meet postponed due to the weather, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn golfers had to wait two days to begin competing. The Hawks took on War Eagle Conference opponent Akron-Westfield on April 4 at Sanborn Golf and Country Club.

With only two varsity girls' players, H-M-S did not compile a team score. As a result, Akron-Westfield won the dual with their team total of 207.

Both H-M-S golfers did achieve individual success. Gracie Knobloch finished in a tie with the Westerners' Allie Swoyer at the top of the leaderboard. Both shot rounds of 46. Kinsey Schirmer finished with a 50 and was fourth overall.

Individual H-M-S scores were Jack Mastbergen and Aiden Bush 47, Blake Meendering and Slayton McCarter 55, and Dominic Tripp 63.

H-M-S had four JV players compete. Kolby Douma and Eli Mastbergen each shot a 55, and Brody Meendering and Talan Zearing carded rounds of 60.
