A funeral service for Marlyn M. Pemble was held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Warner Funeral Home in Everly. Pastor Mike Eeten officiated. Warner Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

Marlys Marlene Pemble, the daughter of Robert L. and Luella F. (Kennedy) Marshall, was born Aug. 21, 1938, in Belmond. Her younger years were spent on various farms in the Klemme/Britt area. She loved life on the farm, except chicken chores! She loved her horse, Dolly.

Marlys graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1956. While in high school she was approached by the owners of the local beauty college....
