The margins of victory were dissimilar but the end results were what counted most for the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls' basketball team last week.

Hosting Woodbury Central on Nov. 30, the Hawks took control in the second half and rolled to a 75-50 win. The 75 points is the most scored by the H-M-S girls since the 2016-17 season.

Abby Douma and Kylee Schiphoff led H-M-S with 21 and 20 points, Moriah Otto scored 13 points, Frankie Mohni scored nine and Gracie Knobloch scored six. The Hawks made 42.6 percent of their shots from the floor, but only made 8-of-22 foul shots.
