H-M-S to host Veterans Day programs Friday

Hartley's program will be held at 9 a.m. in the high school gym, while Sanborn's will be held at the middle school gym at 10:30 a.m. Both are slated for Friday, Nov. 10.
A member of the Iowa National Guard will provide the keynote address Friday, Nov. 10 during a Veterans Day program at the H-M-S Event Center in Hartley. The service kicks off at 9 a.m., and the community is invited to attend.
Rev. Jordan Helming has served in the Iowa National Guard for over 12 years. The first five were as a cook, and the past seven as a chaplain. He deployed to Iraq for a year in 2020 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
