The crew at Nelson Locker, LLC, took a break from cutting meat last Saturday to cut a red ribbon during a special open house. The business held the event to showcase updates to its interior, offer samples and show off its many retail offerings. Josh and Jennifer Paskert bought the business from the Nelson family in April of 2022. The Hartley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the locker during the open house. Food distribution at Trinity UCC
The Food Bank of Iowa's mobile pantry program will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 18, starting at 4 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley. The program is available free of charge and geared toward individuals in need of food assistance.
Participants are asked to stay in their vehicles and line up on the east side of the parking lot. The food will be brought to you as you drive under the canopy.
