The Legion Family in Hartley gathered Aug. 16 for its annual membership meeting.
Post #288 Commander Roy Wohlert presented Certificates of Appreciation to Aiden Nitzel (left) and Brennan Stoltz (right) for representing Post #288 at the American Legion Boys State. Additionally, guest speaker Gerry Holtrop (pictured at left with Auxiliary member Kathy Wacker) addressed the group about Partners for Patriots. The organization obtains, trains and provides service dogs to disabled veterans.
The Legion, Sons and Auxiliary contributed $400 to Partners for Patriots.
