Dan Hunt, of Granville, was honored last week for his decades of service to the O'Brien County Fair.
Fair Board President Darwin Gaudian presented Hunt with a plaque commemorating 45 years of service during the talent show July 24. Hunt for years served as a volunteer and leader for the Caledonia Ramblers 4-H Club as well as beef superintendent at the fair. Gaudian thanked Hunt for his service in addition to his positive impact on youth in O'Brien County.
In addition to 4-H and the fair, Hunt has volunteered his time serving his community, church and the farming industry as whole. His family grows crops and raises livestock on their Caledonia Township farm.
