No Hawk girls qualify for state track meet

With three teams each scoring over 100 points, nine other girls' track and field teams found it difficult to finish among the Top 8 in each event at the 2A state qualifying meet.
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn scored in just one event during the meet on May 11 at Sheldon. Payton Diehm, Emily Mutombo, Abby Otto and Moriah Otto combined for an eighth-place finish in the 4x100 relay. They ran a time of :55.67.
