Ethan Diehm placed fifth in the long jump at the War Eagle Conference meet (pictured) and won the event at the Wolverine Relays.
Wins in two relays and one individual race topped the performances by Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at the War Eagle Conference boys' track and field meet on May 1.
Ryan Borden, Ethan Diehm, James Gellerman and Kooper Ebel led off the running events at Paullina with a win in the sprint medley relay (1:38.89). They came back late in the meet to win the 4x100 relay (:45.32).
In between, Ebel was first to cross the finish line in the 400-meter dash (:51.84).
Adam Schierholz led H-M-S's field event competitors with a third-place finish in the discus throw (125'3") and Diehm finished fifth in the long...
