Residents and staff at Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley are marking National Nurses Week May 6-12.

National Nurses Week is observed annually to show appreciation to America's nurses who work tirelessly to care for our communities. May 12 was selected because it's the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is often attributed as the founder of modern nursing.
