Hartley Cold Services is offering a free space for a plot in a community garden.

The plots being offered are 10'x15' and can be larger based on need. The garden space is on the empty lot south of Van Hofwegen Dental Office and north of the Hartley Cold Services plant. It can be accessed from the street east of the library.

For a garden space, contact Marjean Westerman at (712) 363-2611 or mwesterman@evertek.net. Plots will be assigned. Gardeners will need to keep their plots hoed and the weeds down. The plots will be tilled and spaces marked and staked on a first come, first serve basis.
