Clay Central/Everly Elementary has been on its A-game recently hosting fun and entertaining events for students, their families and the public.

Recently, the school held the Mother-Son Nerf Battle Extraordinaire. The event consisted of favor bags and Nerf bullets, glow-in-the-dark face paint for both moms and sons, and a fully decked out gym filled with barricades, targets and decor made by CC/E STEM students. To top it all off, the battleground was aglow with strobe lights and music to get things popping.

Different games such as freeze tag, capture the flag, Moms vs. Sons, and more were played with great enthusiasm and cheer.

All proceeds from school events are used for student-based activities and to give back to the CC/E communities when able. Sponsors for the Nerf fight included: Home State Bank, State Bank, Evertek, Royal Telephone, Toft Electric, and CC/E Pop Can Fund.
