Boyden-Hull proved to be ungracious hosts on Jan. 26, sweeping both games of a non-conference basketball doubleheader with Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.

In the girls' game, H-M-S only scored seven points in the first half while the Comets finished with 25 to take an 18-point lead into half time. Boyden-Hull extended the advantage to 38-14 at the start of the final period.

The Hawks nearly doubled their point production by scoring 23 points during the fourth quarter, but the Comets maintained their comfortable lead.
