The H-M-S Giving Tree recently landed a sizeable contribution from Fiesta Foods.
The local grocery store held a casual Friday fundraiser, where employees could pay a donation to wear jeans or other less formal attire. Store owner Casey Connor also pitched in some cash to up the donation even more.
The H-M-S Giving Tree project collects gifts during December and distributes them to families in need throughout Hartley, Melvin, Sanborn and May City.
