School spirit shines bright during Clay Central/Everly Homecoming

School holds first Homecoming festivities since 2019

The Maverick mascot wasn't stingy with candy during the CC/E Homecoming parade in downtown Royal on Friday afternoon.

Clay Central/Everly held Homecoming festivities Friday in Royal. It was the first time the elementary-only district held the celebration in three years, as the school closed the 7-12 grade building at the conclusion of the 2019-20 school year. Events this year featured school dress-up days, a parade and a pep rally.
