Lux receives longevity certificate for 71 years in Y'adnom Club: A certificate for 71 years of loyal membership was presented last week to Darlene Lux by Y'adnom President Shirley Ripke (left) and club member Glenda Kroger (right). Darlene was one of the early members of the community service organization. Darlene said that one of the things she loves about the club was meeting many different women throughout the years.
Firefighters visit kids at EPL
The Everly Public Library celebrated National Fire Prevention Month on Monday, Oct. 17. Local kids were excited when they pulled up to the library and saw the fire truck, and their enthusiasm grew when they came in and saw all the firefighters from Everly Fire & Rescue.
