A funeral service for LeAnn M. Harms was held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in May City. Pastor Richard Milbrandt officiated.

Pallbearers were Kyle Harms, Jacob Hansen, Nathan Davis, Courtney Winter, Joe Billings and Rob Jacobs. Interment was at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley. Hartley Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

LeAnn Marilyn Harms was born at her parents’ home near Harris on Dec. 9, 1941, the first child of John E. and Arlene (Tewes) Harders. Eventually two more children, Marjean and Ed, would complete their family.
