Postseason play to begin for baseball, softball teams

H-M-S, S-O to play in regional softball tourney
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will play Sibley-Ocheyedan in the quarterfinal round of the Class 2A Region 1 softball tournament. The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, at the S-O softball field in Ocheyedan.
The winner advances to the regional semifinal on Friday, July 8, at Armstrong. The regional final on Monday, July 11 will be hosted by the highest remaining ranked team from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union rankings.
