I am writing in support of Dennis Bush for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives.

His background in farming, as a county supervisor and on a mental health board give him knowledge and experience in key areas of need for Iowa. He also recognizes and has worked on legislation to address important issues Iowa faces: Affordable and available housing and child care, education and parent rights, roads and bridges, water quality, our labor shortage, and mental health care.

Late in the session last year when Rep. Bush was in Sheldon for the second time, he gave me two hours of his day answering every question I had. He also writes back quickly whenever I have questions on the issues, and his added knowledge is vast. Many of our representatives do not do that, and I truly appreciate his time and attention.

Some candidates focus on one or two culture war issues or try to outdo each other with how much of a conservative they are. They don’t seem aware of what the Legislature has already done or even the day-to-day issues Iowans face. With all the time I have spent communicating with Rep. Bush, I know he listens, learns, and works for all of us and what is best for the state. I urge you to vote for Dennis Bush as the best candidate to continue working for you.
