Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn crowned a War Eagle Conference boys' champion and had two runner-up finishes at the 2022 track and field meet hosted by Hinton on May 3.

The Hawks' all-conference qualifier this year is Kooper Ebel, who won the 400-meter dash in a time of :51.84. Connor Dodd was runner-up in the 100-meter dash (:11.38) and also in the 200 (:23.16).

H-M-S's best relay finish was turned in by Ryan Borden, Ethan Diehm, Ebel and Dodd, who placed second in the 4x100 (:45.06).
