Skyahlie DenBeste, 2, gives a high-five to her buddy, the Easter bunny, on Saturday after the egg hunt.

Despite cold temps and stiff breeze, the hunt was on in Hartley last Saturday.

Children ages 0-10 hit the grounds of Community Memorial Health Center for an egg hunt sponsored by the I.E.F. Club. Participants were split into age groups before heading out en masse during the hunt.

Approximately 100 children joined in on the fun. Prizes were awarded to those who found special eggs, while everyone received a bag of goodies and a can of pop for their efforts.

The biggest treat of all was a visit from the Easter bunny himself, who mingled with participants and posed for photos with those brave enough to stand next to him for a few seconds.
