Gym teachers abound at H-M-S Elementary

Staff and students at H-M-S Elementary had fun during Dress Like a Gym Teacher Day on March 30.
Participants dressed like a gym teacher in order to help create awareness for heart health. The elementary does this every year in conjunction with older students doing Jump Rope for Heart. The staff also donated $200 to the American Heart Association as part of the campaign.
For P.E. teacher Janet Prins (pictured below with student), the day is always a fun one.
"The kids definitely took it seriously," she said. "The whistle is important!"
