The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn speech team on Saturday performed at the individual district speech contest in Sibley. The students worked very hard to prepare their performances and were rewarded with very good ratings and judges comments.

Winners included: Jaela Anliker, Acting, Division I Rating; Emma Schmillen, Storytelling, Division 1 Rating; Anissa Bush, Poetry, Division 1 Rating; and Mitchell Meyers, Improv, Division II Rating, After Dinner Speaking, Division I Rating.
