PBIS party at CC/E Elementary: Students at Clay Central/Everly Elementary were thrown a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) party last week for showing positive characteristics during the month of October. Students excelling in PBIS characteristics are kind, inclusive, respectful and ready to learn. The party included s'mores and campfire song sing-alongs.

Young writers gather at CC/E: Willing Clay Central/Everly 3-6 grade students gathered every Tuesday for more than a month for the school's Young Writer's Club. Mrs. Lisa Roti hosted the group as they learned writing techniques such as creating a good hook, acrostic poetry and story telling. The group's excitement and creativity grew as they listened to stories and later crafted their own fiction stories and chapter books.
