Jack Lester Hardin, 79, of Everly and formerly of Indianola and Casa Grande, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021. No funeral services are planned per Jack’s wishes, but a celebration of life luncheon may be planned at a later date. Warner Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Jack’s parents were Lois and Maurice Hardin, of Summerset. After high school, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and then returned to farming north of Indianola. Later in life he enjoyed working with wood, creating furniture pieces for his children, and playing a challenging game of dominos or marbles with friends and family.

Jack is survived by his three children: Melinda Hardin, of Newton; Michelle (Jay) Rothfus, of Perry; and David Hardin, of Everly; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Don Hardin, Dean Hardin, Carolyn Gilleland, Gary (Charlotte) Hardin, Pat Gatrel and Jim (Mabel) Hardin.
