Children and parents alike enjoyed the brand new playground equipment at CC/E's open house.

Clay Central/Everly on Monday invited families, students, staff and the community to its 2021-22 school year open house.

Families walked through the classrooms seeing all of the new additions and familiar comforts that CC/E has to offer. As they toured the grounds, they also met staff and greeted teachers before heading to the new playground for a picnic. A meal of watermelon and hot dogs was served by friendly staff members while children tried every new piece of equipment they possibly could.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the new playground and presented by CC/E school board president Allison Goyette, board member Denny Dalen, Director of Student Services Michelle Huntress and Royal Mayor Josh Toft.
