• Semi-tractor destroyed near Sanborn

The Sanborn Fire Department was paged for a semi-tractor fire near the corner of Roseland Cemetery, west of Sanborn, at 2:15 p.m. June 28. When firefighters arrived they found a 2002 Freightliner tractor fully engulfed in flames.

According to the report, firefighters prevented the tractor’s fuel tanks from burning and also kept the grain trailer which it was pulling from being damaged.
