Children enjoyed having a story read to them by library members during the program.

Following the dismissal of last Wednesday's Vacation Bible School, children headed across town to the Royal Public Library for the facility's first summer program of the year.

Program festivities included story time, face painting, root beer floats and a magician who performed numerous tricks and illusions with the children's' help. All tricks were carefully intertwined with a Bible verse, bringing the VBS theme into the library program.

The library was well attended with nearly 30 children attended the program. More programs will be held later this summer.
