Members of the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys’ track and field team finished among the best in the region during the Sioux City Relays on April 17.

Connor Dodd finished second in the Class C 100 meter dash, recording a time of :11.71. He was just four-hundredths of a second behind Keaton Bonderson, of Gehlen Catholic.

Noah Adams, Kooper Ebel, Dawson Schiphoff and Dodd combined for second-place finishes in the Class C 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay. Their time of :45.36 in the 4x100 was only topped by Pierce, Neb. They ran the 4x200 in 1:34.66, finishing second to Gehlen Catholic.
