Craig’s employment through the years included building houses and doing construction. He studied electric instrumentation and began to work as maintenance for manufacturing businesses. His career took him to work as a welder at various businesses for many years.

In 2015, Craig began to have lung issues and retired. After surviving many lung diseases, Craig passed away at his home surrounded by family on April 7, 2021, at the age of 70 years, three months and 23 days.
