COVID-19 positivity rate falls below 10 percent in O'Brien County

COVID-19 positivity rates decreased in O'Brien and Clay counties over the past week.

As of Tuesday evening, O'Brien County's 14-day positivity rate was 8.6 percent, down from 10.9 percent a week ago. Clay County's was up to 12.2 percent from 11.2 percent over the same time period. The statewide positivity rate was down from 12 percent to 10.4 percent.

Coronavirus-related deaths were up one apiece in O'Brien and Clay counties to 55 and 21, respectively. There have been 4,492 COVID-19 deaths statewide, up from 4,332 last week.
