Big scores end with opposite outcomes

All five starters for the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls' basketball team scored in double figures during a 67-17 win over Harris-Lake Park on Jan. 5 in Hartley.

Lydia Harders scored 20 points to lead the offense while Darby Mastbergen scored 12, Jasmine Lux scored 11 and Olivia Grooters and Taya Mason each scored 10. Emily Otto added four points.

The Hawks made 30-of-74 shots from the floor and 7-of-10 attempts at the foul line.
