• Felony warrant arrest made during traffic stop

Daniel Ryan Trevino, 44, of Hartley, was arrested during a routine traffic stop on Highway 59, on Thursday, Sept. 24.

The report states that during the stop an O’Brien County deputy learned of an active felony warrant for Trevino’s arrest. The warrant was issued due to a January incident in which Trevino allegedly sold 14.6 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential source. Charges were filed and the warrant for Delivery of Methamphetamine, a class B felony, was issued on July 30.

Trevino was also charged with carrying a knife with a blade over 8 inches in length, which is an aggravated misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the O’Brien County jail and made an initial court appearance on Sept. 25.

• Arrested on drug charges

Dylan Everett Halbur, 28, of Hartley, was arrested by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, Sept. 21.

According to the report, Halbur was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine-3rd offense, a class D felony, and Possession of Marijuana-3rd offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Halbur made his initial court appearance in O’Brien County Magistrate Court on Sept. 22. A court-appointed attorney was named to represent him.
