The men’s league at the Hartley Bowling Alleys began their season. Twenty-four men’s teams were bowling on Monday, Tuesday and Friday each week. The women’s league was preparing for their season.
A new rotating schedule was set up by the schools of the Sioux Valley Conference to take effect with the 1946 football season. Each school was assigned three contestants and over a period of three years they would have to play all schools in the conference. Hartley had to play Sanborn, Milford and Sutherland each year, along with one other conference school to rate for the...
