Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn is represented by three players on the 2020 all-War Eagle Conference baseball team. All three are first-time honorees.

Junior Sam Heyn was named to the all-War Eagle Conference first team, while senior Samuel Haack is a second-team selection and sophomore Keaton Graves earned honorable mention recognition.

Since Gehlen Catholic's program was suspended for two weeks due to COVID-19, the records released with the all-conference selections credit a win to teams whose games with the Jays were canceled. As a result, H-M-S is listed as having a conference win. Gehlen Catholic's record only reflects the WEC games they played.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn baseball player Sam Heyn was recognized by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association for inclusion on the 2020 all-district team.

The junior was tabbed as an honorable mention selection for the Class 1A northwest district squad.
