Linda Carstensen, dietary manager of Community Memorial Health Center, poses with the facility's seven-liter Robot Coupe food processor purchased with funds awarded by the Siouxland Community Foundation. This machine will allow CMHC to alter diets as ordered by a physician, such as puree or mechanical soft for residents who have difficulties chewing or swallowing.

"This bigger machine will allow us to maintain food integrity and temperature much better," said Carstensen. "We are very excited with our 'Big Bertha.' "
