The 2020 regular season is only 10 days old and Iowa’s baseball teams can already look forward to postseason play.
The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released district and substate assignments for classes 1A and 2A. Postseason competition in Class 1A opens with preliminary round games on Thursday, July 9. First round games in both classes are scheduled for Saturday, July 11.
Actual pairings for district games will be announced next week.
